Fertilizer sticks

Jan found some 'Miracle-Gro' sticks at Lowe's pretty cheap.....snapped em in half and did the larger plants. What difference, and a fairly quick response too...I'm guessing we needed more iron...?? lots of new shoots and leaves...   I know 'Jobe's' makes the sticks too...anyone try those?

I have the Jobes.  Barb says that they're better because they're higher in nitrogen than the Miracle Grow.  The Miracle grow have more of the stuff for flower and root production

We did need the extra iron for the swords and anubias...

Never used the sticks, but use miracle grow in the water.

I've used the Miracle-gro in the water too....and it doesn't seem to be as effective as the sticks...
