How "old" is old for parrots? Don't they live a long time?

cockatiels average about 10, maybe 15 years...some have been able to reach 30?.....Shrek & Fiona are 7-8 yrs old now...

Yes, Igor is a Quaker parrot.....we've had them out together in the same room, but only once....Sunny is a little bit more territorial than Igor the nice guy...Sunny's not mean at all tho.....it's just better not to take chances with instincts.....

We may end up selling Sunny....but Igor's a keeper  ...very much so too.. ..he's quite the bird ...really has personality...plus, he's not even a year old yet...
