I've never been to their swap, but I think it's small. They do have great bar-b-cue . . . . . . .  LOL

We met them in 2009 when their HAAS club hosted the MCA convention. I gave a talk at their club meeting last year. Don't get out that way often. I'm half tempted to take a road trip. 530 miles, nine hours, that ain't far.

We were vendors and stayed several days for the convention, but for the club meeting presentation we drove out the day before . After the meeting we drove part way home and stopped for the night. It was fun.

There's a huge Cabelas in Kansas City, KS.

There's a good sized Cabelas in Hoffman Estates too.....

A partial return could work....but I hate those 10-12 hrs trip legs....I've driven down to Frankfort, Ky and back in a day, that was bad enough....

I was going to walk across the street to the grocery store yesterday but decided not to when I realized I would have to turn around and come right back.  I can't imagine a 10 hour turn around.  The most I ever did was probably 5.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's snobbery and one-upmanship. People trying to pretend they're superior. Makes it so much harder for those of us who really are.

Josh lives in Newton, Kansas. I would have to stop and see him if I went down that way.
