..anybody here ever taste one....Jan picked up a golden kiss melon, in a net.....it says from Israel....

"A native of Israel, the Summer Kiss is a special variety that has a mild-sweet flavor and dazzling color. Its netted, deep golden exterior covers a bright green-white interior fruit that is juicy and creamy in texture.

Enjoy alone or lightly season with lemon or lime juice, ginger or honey. Serve with ice cream or add a splash of color to fruit salads.

Avoid melons that are too firm, too soft or have any part of the stem remaining at its tip end. Ripe melons can be refrigerated 5 days. Cut melons should be placed in a covered container and refrigerated for no more than three days."
