Beggars night has come and gone here, it was Saturday.  As we are at the end of a very long cul-de-sac leading into the woods, we don't get any beggars.  The action is all down at the village proper.

They had a lot of events here over the weekend too...then there was 'Pumpkin Feast' over in Sycamore which draws many thousands over the weekend....huge crowds...

At the U of O, they dropped a pumpkin that was frozen in liquid nitrogen off a building. Some new tradition since when I was there.
The Ducks also had a nice disguise, as they won a game this weekend.

We live on a semi rural road between two subdivisions.  Trick or treaters go into the subdivisions where the houses are much closer together and are too lazy to walk where the houses are farther apart.  We didn't have any trick or treaters so I ate the Reeses peanut butter cups.
