I got the pleasure of seeing Jake in person about 8 or 9 years ago. He was an opener and I had no idea. After about 10 minutes, I realized I had my jaw firmly planted in my chest and forgot where the heck I was. I've had a totally different view of the Uke as a musical instrument ever since and what Jake Shimabokuro does with one. Check out how many times this video's been seen.

And he really does play it that fast! That video isn't doctored. If you dig him up on YT, he does lots of tunes you'll find familiar, but on a Uke played his way, they just take on a whole different level. That vid has over 12 million views!
