Title: Bout to spawn
Post by: JC on September 12, 2014, 04:32:48 PM
My blue smokey leopard x pinoy clown veil pair is about to spawn for the first time for me, unfortunately they have been cleaning the intake tube all afternoon and not the slate.  Haha just my luck

So last night they laid a huge spawn. They covered the filter tube of a whisper 40 from top to bottom and halfway around it!

..remember to turn off the filter, or cover the intake with a sponge, or something.....even if they move them, that intake can suck em up when they free swim....

Went down this morning at 5am to feed the fish before work and my wigglers went free swimming sometime in the night. It was a huge swarm of them too.  Really neat to watch, I've missed raising and breeding angels, I wish it could be my full time job haha

Hey Jon did you ever get any fry from this pair?  I moved the fry to their own 20 and I swear I see a pinoy paraiba!  I hope so because I'd like a few of those for breeding. If that's the case that means I have a blue smokey leopard ghost. That wouldn't look any different than a blue smokey leopard correct?
