..it's been a long fun day....lots of loving family, great food, and hugs galore... .....we've now settled in for the evening...a good tired feeling...

..cold again tonight, temps below freezing...however, tomorrow we may see 60degs  ...a warm sunny, but windy day....bring it on

It was a lovely day.  I politely declined an invitation to a family dinner.   Nothing but playing with dogs fish and chickens for me. 

Did I tell y'all that I've had two baby chicks and a mama browsing around outside for several days now?  They came back in the fish room at night until tonight.  I panicked and searched and finally found them under the chicken house.  Mama was nestled in the loose dry dirt with her two babies poking their heads out from underneath her.  I delivered their food and water to them so they'll have it when they wake up in the morning.
