I am seriously thinking about buying out my buddies fish room.
I really want it as there is some really nice f1 breeding groups of cichlids.
But i barely have time for the fish room i got now. Kinda torn between doing it and then not doing it.
Reminds me of the cartoon where the angel is on one shoulder saying no and the devil is on the other saying yes

If you modify it to a self sustaining water system....it'll run itself while you're gone for a few days at a time...lights on timers...yada yada

You got that right.
I got 4 125 gal. tanks complete with stands and other various items.
6 petricola juvies, 10 whitetail acei's and a nice breeding group of Albino Taiwan reef. plus a another 3  taiwan reef females that carry the albino gene. I already have 2 pair of Taiwan reef that carry the albino gene. These will be fun to breed. Kinda hard to find some really nice Albino Taiwan reef.
Gotta pick all this up Saturday
He has a few f1 breeding groups of various Africans that i would love to have, but enough is enough
