All my tanks have to stay in my room and the are about three feet away from my bed. The first day I got my kitten she sat at the edge of the bed watching my angels for a little while and then lunged head first into the side of my tank as soon as one swam to the front silly cats  ;D

LOL......you betcha.....we're cutting power usage down by both adding sponges, and reducing the even few hob filters...and changing over slowly to LED lights.........it's working too.. ;D ;D ;D ;D

might even free up an outlet for the coffee pot too....got one ready to use... ;D

Yeah I had that problem. So I added more outlets. Since I built the fish house myself I purposely kept the load on each circuit way under max load. Glad I did.
