Ron Sower

Had a male fanning in my catch-all plant overflow tank. But he's come out of the cave now. No fry.

Found a new male in a cave and lo and behold he was fanning a clutch of eggs. I don't know if he was born here or if he came to me via Jon. Either way he traces back to Jon.

The difference in origin would be that if he was born here then he is HET for albino and if it is a sibling mating (I don't know who the female is ???) then I will get some albinos. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I gots some new babies too.  About 18 months ago Jon and I traded some fish and the the albino long fins had fry stuck to the glass this morning.   8)

I hadn't really been paying them too much attention as I thought they were still a bit young to spawn.  It's not a lot of fry, but a good turn out for a first spawn.

I got some from Ron a couple weeks ago. Some babies and 2 pair of known breeders. We shall see.

I have a pair of L144 longfin I'm working with. I have to find the wild and cougars daughter another tank. The snails in there tank are over powering anything that spawns in there. If I didn't fed the snails to the loaches I would redo the tank and get the snails out. The L144 are a new pair I haven't seen any eggs but he sure is trying.
