Giant Flood in China May have marked the beginning of the first Chinese Dynasty

Evidence has been found for a giant outbreak flood in China that may have lead to the first Chinese dynasty.
The outbreak flood is thought to have resulted from the breaking of a natural dam that resulted from an earthquake caused landslide which blocked up a river in a canyon, making a large 900 foot deep lake, which then broke and made a massive flood.

This is similar to the much more massive floods that occurred longer ago in the Pacific NW.
In this case a glacier blocked up a valley in N. Idaho or NE Washington. This made a lake 2000 feet deep before it broke it and released a supermassive flood (volume of 2 of the great lakes released in a week, with a flow equal to the combined flow of all the rivers of the world). This was repeated 40 to 80 times.

The Biblical flood has been attributed (with less evidence) to the flood of the black sea when the waters of the Mediterranean Sea broke through the Bosporus (in Turkey) and flooded the below sea level area around what was thought to be a smaller body of water.
