So, we were giving out small sized bags of microwave popcorn, made for Halloween.  All the kids love it.  Two boys came by our driveway, which is about 150' long, and the youngest one about 6 or so made the long walk to get candy.  The older one said too far to walk and he didn't want to bother so he stood at the end of the driveway.  When the little boy got back out to him, the older one saw we were giving out popcorn and he decided to make the long walk for it.  The little boy said the older boy was too tired to walk anymore.  it was about 7pm.   True story!

Shoulda told him you were all out and given him an apple instead.  Kids love apples on Halloween.

Speaking of Halloween I don't know why this is not more popular.  It so much better than Charlie Brown although the "I got a rock" line was a very big part of my childhood.

fast forward to about the 12 minute mark for the bit with Old Mud Foot if you don't have time to watch the whole thing.  And if you don't have time to watch the whole thing ... make time to watch the whole things and make your kids watch it.  Fat Albert Rules.  Buck Buck Number one.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's snobbery and one-upmanship. People trying to pretend they're superior. Makes it so much harder for those of us who really are.
