It's fine when I just drive into the LFS, drop off my fish, get my money and drive home.  It's a huge pain when I have a lot of places to go.  Hattiesburg is very spread out and in west Hattiesburg the traffic is what a country bumpkin calls congested.  I only had to go to 3 places but had planned on stopping for sushi at my favorite place.  After I dropped off the fish at the LFS store I cranked Charlotte and she died immediately 3 times in a row.  At least she had the kindness to do it in the parking lot rather than when she was in traffic.  She was out of gas because I drove into Hattiesburg last Wed and went to the same spread out places.  I keep a 2 gallon gas can in her bed  so I fed her and she was fine.  She wants to bitch me out for not having her fuel pump that has the gas level sensor in it replaced.  I'll let her bitch me out later.  I'm not in the mood for it now.

I got all my stuff done but I didn't have the patience to stop for a nice meal.  I didn't even have the patience to stop in north Hattiesburg to visit my favorite veterinarians even I saw Lowell's truck in the parking lot.  I passed them by and went on to the slaughter house where I was able to get 2 beef tongues and 2 beef kidneys for the huge price of $9.95 ;)  I got to watch the butcher cut the kidneys out of the hanging sides of beef.  This weekend's meals just need to be prepped and cooked.  I'll have to pickle the tongues but I know how to do that.I can't wait.
Always move forward. Never look back.
