It looks like Antarctica out here.  Windy as all get out, snow is swirling and drifting...very, very cold. The weather report is calling it "brisk and bitterly cold".  Yep.

...finished the walks and driveway...dang folks that wind froze my skinny butt real bad...came back in and tore up an old sweatshirt and made a heavy duty scarf/mask....much better ...my heavy boots did their job too.....new plug in the snow blower was awesome...yowser, throwing some serious snow now....even that rotten heavy snow, and lumps put there by the road plows,,,

..then we ran off Wally World and grabbed a few things, then back now to hibernate... ...

I did not know you guys had more snow.   We are at a balmy 36 degree with nice sunny skies.

We only got an inch or two....but it's blowing pretty bad out there....drifting the out of town roads badly...

It was a good day to work on the new tank. I got it up and running the water is checking good temps at 84. So I put in the male elephant ear betta. I'm thinking of keeping him in there with the discus. But for now he's a guinea pig. Tomorrow I'll put in some wood and the long fin plecos. I'm not sure when the discus are going to be put in. I want to make sure everyone else is doing good before I put them in. I'll take pictures tomorrow. It's a little bare there's no plants in it yet. I got a hold of Mark to get new plants for the tank. Hopefully by the next swap I'll get them.

You might want to bucket acclimate during transfer?...just in case the parameters are a 'little' different.....can't hurt anyway.....just a thought.....
