I ordered some pipettes, banana worm, and micro worm cultures Thursday night in preparation for my fry that are starting to free swim as we speak. I was worried I wouldn't get it in time. I needed the pipettes for the brine shrimp I started today and the package came around 11am!

You should have said something when you were here, or before I met ya in Dixon.....LOL....we've got the worm cultures all made up....I use the worms for a variety with fry....usually the evening feeding as they live longer than bbs in the water......I had extra bbs eggs too....

Which pair has the free swimmers?...the HE's...??....how many does it look like?....

I honestly didn't expect them to spawn this soon haha. My luck with new pairs is it takes them a couple weeks to a month to get settled in and spawn again.  Yeah it's the HE's. Looks like 50-75ish about half look to be albino

Those two will raise em in a tank full of sharks, and defend them....a very devoted couple. I'm pleased that they carried on as usual. The spawns should get a bit bigger in size, depending on how many albinos show up....look for PB headlights, and around the two month period..half blacks....
some of the paler ones will be ghosts, others possibly blue blushing, or pariabas...??...remember they're gene loaded....LOL....I see little headlights in mine already, you'll see them soon too...

It's the genetic out come...many tho will look like the same phenotype, because of the recessive genes not expressing the 'het' genes involved....

You just plug the parents genes into an angelfish genetic calculator online and it will calculate all the percentages for you. I use the one on angelfins

I usually pop em out of head, or use a 'Punnett square'' ..but this time I used an old genetic calculator that I have had around ...LOL....it's a load, ?..
