That was one of the theories put forth.  I think they said they've found this over on the east coast also though.

That's true.  Other things in our ocean aren't doing well either.  And we have invasive Lion Fish in our waters now, came up in the warm gulf stream from Florida where hobbyists released them in the ocean.  Now they are getting huge and eating lots of our native fish.  It is a real problem.

Barb I saw a report about the lion fish problem on TV.  Its amazing how much damage invasive species do and how quickly they do it.
