Title: Zion Trip
Post by: PaulineMi on November 21, 2013, 10:09:55 AM
I got to experience some of Nature's breathtaking beauty last month in Zion National Park in Utah. And as usual, pictures don't do these beautiful rock mountains and canyons justice. To get some persepective, notice the vehicle at the bottom of the first picture.

That was an interesting presentation.  We also went to the Grand Canyon but I fell in love with Zion.

I didn't see any of the places you mentioned.  It was a trip where we tried to do too many things with too little time.  I'd go back to Zion and the surrounding areas in a heartbeat though.

If you to the Buffalo area, check this out about 45-50 miles east....Letchworth State Park...

Also in that area is Niagra Falls to the north, with the St Lawrence seaway/Thousand Islands...Mohawk river valley to the north east a bit...with Fort Ticonderoga at it's southern tip..etc...awesome area, especially in the fall..the big maple trees are like a painting ....
