It's supposed to be a rainy day today, with winds picking up later on....but coffee's good and we'll be putz'n in the fish room this morning. We've been running around like Yah hoooo's the last few days, time to have a slow easy day.

Coffee is indeed good. Lots of fish room work today.WC today and then again on Tuesday. Then I am off to the DC area for Thanksgiving dinner and the weekend.

I may have to make a quick trip up and down I-95 though as I have some fry at a critical stage and need to feed them.

I have an auto feeder that I may set up with some of Captain Bob's Egg Fu Young as they just started on crushed flake.

I was not intending this spawn but since it happened and the parents raised it I let it be. 

Good thing is I will get some light Koi types out of them and the local pet shops are looking for marble type fish so they will take them.

They also throw Smokey Paraibas and regular Paraibas which I will work with. Weird genes in this pair.

I got these from you.  They throw those Koi Paraiba.  This time I have a full spawn so I'll get a a better idea of the percentages.

Well, the coffee's not bad. Ran out of 1/2 & 1/2 so used milk and I think I've really gotten hooked on 1/2 & 1/2 over the last year.

Gotta run to the box stores...early. Need a bit more insulation to finish the ceiling in the new workshop. It was stinkin' cold working out there yesterday and it was even worse when I realized I was short on insulation so I threw in the towel a little early out there. Supposed to be warmer today so hopefully I can get this done. The new bandsaw should be here Tuesday night and shop for a small woodstove week after turkey day!

I think that Koi came from Mike Gibbs line. The attached pictures does the make no justice. But it is a Koi of some sort. BTW this fish is huge. You can't tell from this picture.

Let me clarify.  You are correct this fish does not have smokey.  The female is a smokey. He was one of the throw ins.

That Koi pic looks like a blue Koi....Gm/+ S/S......those are super good crosses back into a Koi line...the crosses tend to bring a more reddish cap back....
