These guys look like mini adults, except for the coloring.  Just for a size reference, the plant this fish is hiding under is a very small Cryptocoryne wendtii in one of those tiny 2 inch terracotta pots.....

LOL Those white spots in the photo are BBS.  That's the reason for the BIG mouth.

They are NOT shy eaters.  Seriously Fish has them listed as 25 ? 30 mm, so right around an inch.   ;)
