Spent the better part of today doing fishroom stuff.  The aquarium silicone finally dried enough to put my driftwood/anubius creation in the discus tank. After they finally got over thinking it was a monster in their tank I took some pictures.

(I left some of the string on the wood for the time being. I wasn't sure if everything would hold when I submerged it. So far so good.  :))

Josie's Aunt Miranda said she spent a long time choosing this (out of focus) one for me.  :)

Thanks Jon. I may try that if there's a next time.  I read that there's a gel super glue that's good to work with.

Also, if you wet it, it will cure sooner!

Thanks Bill and Ron.

Ron...if the wood and plant are wet the gel type super glue will cure faster?

Yes. Usually I use a paper towel to ''dry'' off excess water on plant rhizome and wood or rock. Then I apply glue to the wood or plant rhizome and hold the plant in place a minute or so, then submerge it in the water, still holding it for a few more seconds. The glue usually cures out white, but as the plant grows, it gets covered up.  I've done this with Anubias and Java Fern.

Have fun with it!!
