I know lots of Discus folks who use them and love then. I have one, I hate it because it is VERY LOUD and has brushes. If you can deal with that they do a good job.

Nope I went and got the 2.5 hp just like yours and used it allot before the drip system not so much any more..

I was just looking for something to pump the water,during changes, out to the back garden..
