..a great day here.... |^|...putz'n and whatever... huh

Oh...this looks interesting as hell......oh joy, joy, joy.....................

"A Winter Storm Watch for 4 to 8-inches of heavy wet snow beginning Friday evening and continuing until Saturday afternoon has been issued for much of the Chicago area generally south of a line from Rockford to Chicago into northwest Indiana (blue-shaded area on the highlighted map).

The snow is expected to taper off to the north of that line. It is still early in the process, but current thinking has the Rockford area and Chicago receiving 2 to 3 inches of snow with lesser amounts over McHenry and Lake Counties Illinois. Snow will spread from west to east across the area.

This is expected to be a very heavy wet snow that will be difficult to move due to the high water content, so roads will be sloppy and slick with slowed travel, and shoveling will be strenuous. Be prepared for this late-season winter storm with strengthening easterly winds and temperatures for the most part in the 30s during the event."
