..changing some angel pairs over to bare bottom tanks.....I'll likely need to paint some bottoms tho...or go with a very thin layer of sand???

There's a spray paint that looks like sand/gravel that can be sprayed on the bottom of tanks. I've read about it but never used it.

 I typically just use a can of cheap Latex based paint put on with a sponge roller. Quick, easy, no fumes and will easily peel/scrape off, with a good soaking of water if/when I WANT  it too.
