Title: Scheduled Power Outage
Post by: wsantia1 on May 03, 2014, 05:32:27 PM
Out of the blue I got a notice that the power company would be shutting down the power Tuesday for 4 hours.  That stinks. >:(  Good thing I've downsized and don't have overloaded tanks.

I have one battery operated air pump and an inverter that I can hookup to a battery jumper for about 6 hours. That will power the sponge filters in the other tanks. 8) This could have been a problem if I were out of town for a few days. ???

Walmart has the battery air pumps in their fishing dept.  Cost just a few dollars. Good luck,
Barb

Ok the powers out and i have everthing running via portable air pump and inverter connected to a car battery jumper. So far so good except the noise from the portable pump. Lol
