Out of the blue I got a notice that the power company would be shutting down the power Tuesday for 4 hours. That stinks. >:( Good thing I've downsized and don't have overloaded tanks.
I have one battery operated air pump and an inverter that I can hookup to a battery jumper for about 6 hours. That will power the sponge filters in the other tanks. 8) This could have been a problem if I were out of town for a few days. ???

I hear ya....a big water change helps too.....you're lucky that it's warmer now.. ;D
This type of thing just makes me wonder about the "advances" in this age of technology.... ???
that sucks! I always worry about power outages. I need to get a small generator.
Walmart has the battery air pumps in their fishing dept. Cost just a few dollars. Good luck,
Barb

Thanks Barb. I'm ready for it. I have a battery pump and some other options too. Hopefully it won't we for too long ;D
Ok the powers out and i have everthing running via portable air pump and inverter connected to a car battery jumper. So far so good except the noise from the portable pump. Lol
