I made fish soup.  It is delish and takes little time.  An onion, a few cloves of garlic, a little thyme, a bottle of oyster juice, a good bit of parsley,  a can of choped 'maters, a bit of S&P, a dash of tobasco and a small shake of cayenne.  OMG it wonderful!
Always move forward. Never look back.

lol.  I forgot about the fish.  You add it last  in 2" chuncks and just let it simmer in all that good stuff for 10 minutes. Then it's done :D

We just got back from the birthday party...

We had Italian meats wrapped around cheese, chicken wings, salsa and chips, cocktail hot dogs, cheeses and dips, etc for starters (forgetting something for sure)

Then they had about 40 lbs of smoked pulled pork cooked on site...mostaccioli w/ meat sauce, rolls/croissants, cold pasta casserole, vegetable salads, fresh tomatoes, yada yada.....

Then dessert.....3 different pies, different cheese cakes, Cannoli, cakes, cookies, yada yada......

forgetting half of it all...LOL...but we ate a bunch.....yup.....

great folks....and a good time...because we were also celebrating the fact that he had just gotten married to his lovely bride about a month ago...   mim
