I separated them today.  Their are fry from 2 spawns here.  There are actually more pea size ones than dime size ones but the littlest ones are either out of the frame or out of focus.  The Discus pair raised the peas.  Perhaps they have the turning magic in them :P

It beats me what makes them turn.  The fry didn't eat from the Discus nearly as much as Discus fry do, mostly I saw the fry on them in the morning and when I got home from work when they were hungry.  The first spawn from their real parents had a very high turning percentage but the next two spawns had disappointing turning percentages.
