I have two pairs with wigglers.  Since I had to put all my pairs in the community tank a while back I can't say with certainty, but they look like and also act like my number one pair (both parents are attentive to the wigglers, not just mom.  These to fish get along well.  The wigglers just started wiggling.  There are a ton of them.  I have high hopes for these.  In the other spawn, I recognize the female for sure.  I have a spawn from her from Feb 2.  Over half express.  Her stupid p/p mate jumped out and committed suicide during the night, stupid fish.  She picked a new fella that is a nice p/+.  They have a smaller but decent batch.  They're doing a good job with them.

I have this pretty pair that's p/p x p/p.  They are morons when it comes to breeding.  They don't spawn often and  when they to they seem to do it right, but immediately after they eat their eggs.  Stupid fish.  Next time they spawn  I want to pull the eggs and see what I get.  I'm curious to see if I get any good fish from the group.

From now on, I will ignore the gene and select for the best fish.  It will fade into the background, which will be fine with me.  I still love the look, but they are better for display than for breeding.
Always move forward. Never look back.
