Arthur update

We made it through just fine.  The worst bands of Arthur didn't come over us, but other areas are not so lucky.  We had gusts up to about 50mph, and little rain, only 3/4" here.  Other places got high winds, damage, flooding, etc,  but we didn't, thank heavens.  Just lots of worry and sleeplessness, listening to the winds howling in the middle of the night.

Some branches down, tons of leaves, my flowers are mostly upright, and no house damage.  All our trees are still standing tall.  I actually wish we had gotten more rain.  Now it is 75 degrees, 98% humidity.  Arthur is safely out to sea, no more trouble from him I hear.

Now I need more coffee!  Thank you all for your kind thoughts and messages, helps to know we have good people thinking of us.  Bill is ok, but most all of everything around here needs to be done by me now.  I'm getting used to it.

Thanks friends!  Now I just have 3 acres of small branches to pick up  .  I will need help I think.  This is the only downside to all our trees.
