....we're going with cold cuts, baked beans, yada yada.....a nice hot weather meal....might go for ice cream later..?
My glorious seafood gumbo over rice. I made enough for an army but when I run out of it I will make it again. I will try to make it better. Chef Andy critiqued it at my request. He said that I forgot the bay leaf (I did) and that my rough wasn't dark enough (also so). He told he how to make a dark roux in the oven without the fear of burning it.
