..looks like beef tips, broad egg noodles, gravy, and fruit cocktail......MMMmmm...I love those noodles... |^|

A porterhouse that I got on sale, baked potato and mixed veggies. 2 cream-cycles for dessert. I'm stuffed.

I made this killer seafood gumbo Sunday.  It had all this beautiful seafood in it.  I followed the directions and added seasonings along the way.  It was good enough but still lacking.  I adjusted the seasonings Monday.  It was good.  I did the same adjusting today and decided that it had every subtle flavor that I was looking for. 

I shall the give the entire 7 qt batch the same seasoning and give a pint to the Chef only if he agrees to critique it.  I'm very much looking forward to hearing what he thinks of my cooking.  Yes, I started from a recipe but is was me tweaking that made it good.  I know Chef Andy well enough to know that he will be honest with me.

They were swamped at work last night so I went in on my day off.  One of the ladies I work with even made me lunch...  cheesy rice and broccoli with baked ham.  Very tasty!  Had enough for dinner again tonight.  Was just as good as the first time!
