I hate mondays

Last week while at work. I was walking down a set of 4 stairs, when my knee gave out and I about took out a co-worker and ended up on the floor.  (My knee gave out due to an old war wound - Meniscal tear in the fall 2006).  So we went to the ER last Friday and started the workmen's compensation (L&I in Wa)paper work and had x-rays done.  Nothing they could see wrong so they sent me home with a script for meds and orders to make an appointment to see an orthopedic specialist (did I mention it's Friday & now after 5 ). So need less to say did not do much of anything over the weekend.  Monday gets here and really really don't want to go to the appointment but Lori gets out the cattle prod and zaps me a couple times (and i think one more just cause ). Off we go for a 3 pm office call.  We get there 15 min early and sit and watch this info-mercial on the sky over Ireland. Talk about breathtaking scenery. (even more of a reason for me get the hell to get out of that office).   Nurse calls us back and we sit in the office talk talk yaddy yadda me fall down boom. She leaves and the doctor comes in asks us where we are from and in start the Iowa jokes. this goes on like 20 min. the whole time I'm thinking to myself "I'm paying for this abuse". Ha ha ha ohhhhh. Finally he wants to get down to business more talk talk yaddy yadda me fall down boom. Then he tells me I'm off work for the next 30 days or until workmen s compensation  approves my MRI scan, hands  me a slip for more meds and send us home and this is why I hated the military - hurry up and wait.. So now im stuck at home and on crunches for the next 30 days.....  Thank god for the fish room.... LOL!!!!!

LOL....Aron running around on crutches saying to Lori..."beat me, prod me"...LOL.....all the while the pups are watching thinking "WTF"....and little Momma says " it's ok kids, this is normal for them"
