We've finally just really gotten settled in our home and community. I'm acclimating to withdrawals from MTS, etc. Recently, Linda has become annoyed with a few things in the community. Things that happen everywhere.

So now we have our 23' travel trailer, Ducky, and the Suburban to tow it, and she comes in the kitchen yesterday morning, while we're supposed to be having coffee together, and says' "I want to sell the house and travel for a year!"

I looked at her in amazement with my jaw on the floor and came back with something like, "Well, I'll just have to buy your half out."

Not good..!!   :(

That doghouse is so small!  Murphy is a Shitzu and we don't fit very well in it together...!  :( :(

So he's sleeping in the bed now.  :'( :'( :'(
Happy Aquariuming,

It sure was quiet around here yesterday!

Why don't you give up now.  SHE has decided.  The sooner you say "yes" the less you will have to suffer.

It's not piling on...It's being helpful.  The outcome is obvious.  Why should the poor dear suffer more than necessary?

Hey Ron, sorry about the issue.  I have always found it helpful to follow one rule in marriage, and I am speaking from 43 1/2 successful years of it.  For the big decisions in your married life, both partners must agree before anything big takes place.  It has worked well for us.  Maybe you too?

It would be fun to travel around for a year. I would have to figure out a way to set up a aquarium in the trailer.  My loaches and angels would have to go too.  ;D

The response of having to buy her half out is what resulted in your rooming with the shitzu. Lol. Ya gotta try to at least humor her with something about just recovering from foot surgery.  Explain that traveling in Ducky with returns to home base for awhile can give both of you a chance to get a feel for life on the road.

Frankly we planned that lifestyle......then life got in the way.   We used to load up our horses, dogs, get our rig on the road and camp/ride in various states. So maybe I'm biased......
