Liz called me while I was on a day trip this morning, this is my first time to post here.  She fell off a stool doing wc's.  Called neighbors who came to help her, has had hip surgery to put her back together. And now waiting to hear about when she can leave and go home.  Liz is tough!  I will let you know how she is doing, will call her tomorrow night early.

Good morning, Muggers!

61 right no and going to 83. Still cool!

I had a breeder bring me 30 CPDs yesterday. Another fellow I know well was going to sell him a tank and said he'd meet him here. Breeder guy was concerned about the other guy "inviting" himself to my house. I told him not to sweat it. Turns out both of them had lived in the same town in Colorado during overlapping years. Breeder guy used to work in a well known fish store that inviting guy frequented a lot! Still a small world!

Hey, I bet your floors look great, Willie. We were happy to get ours done several years ago. Big wedding plans for the kids! Should be fun.

We had a patio party by the community pool last evening.  BBQ pork, Mac or tater salad, fresh fruit pieces and BYOB or lemonade. The instrumentalists were good, but the vocalist didn't have the best tone register or range. It was good to go because we haven't been to any dances for awhile.

Lucy's going to visit a girlfriend today and I'm going to putz in the fishroom some and get it cleaned up a little.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday.

Dennis I agree with Barb, that brick work looks great. Ron, things are kind of slow here too but that won't last as I have to get ready for my nieces wedding at the end of May. I still haven't decided what I am going to wear but I better soon because time is flying by.

Good morning everyone. It is a cool day here but it won't stay that way for long as the temps will soar into the 80ss starting tomorrow. Currently it is 56 degrees but it will only get up to 58F with rain passing through this afternoon.

I am in the process of doing water changes and all is looking good down here. The floors were finally completed so I am glad that I have my house back without strangers walking in and out all day. They did do a great job so I am happy about that.

I wish you all a great day.

Good morning guys, great work Dennis!  You must know brick laying.  And plumbing and other jobs. Read all the last few days posts so I am keeping up with you guys.  Liz hope you are doing OK.  I posted at Simply. Sure hope Al can hang on and even find another item to sell to us all for our discus.  I am worm-rationing now. The baby discus you sent me a few years ago have been eating those FDBW at least once a day for their whole lives.  But they eat everything I give them, all dried, so they will be fine.

Hi Ron!

Beautiful day here today.  Blue sky and mid 70's.

I've been working out at Mom's just fixin' stuff up before she gets back from Florida.

Brushed up on my masonry skills and refurbished a retaining wall in need of some repairs.  Replaced 6 top caps, and re-pointed the mortar where needed.  Coat of fresh paint and walla!!!

Also did a bit of tile work in the master bath, and swapped the handles on the tub faucet.  At 96 she was having trouble getting the water turned off...

As for today, I watched MotoGP Friday practice earlier and now I'm off for a ride of my own.  Planning on cutting some downed trees tomorrow along with some other yard work.  Got 2.25 pounds of wildflower seed to sow.  Looks like winter is all but over here and it's probably safe to put it in the ground.

Lastly, Ubuntu version 24.04 came out yesterday.  I'll probably play around a bit with the new version over the weekend.  It's hard to believe I stopped using Micro$oft Windows almost 15 years ago...

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi guys!

Cool 66 degrees here this morning as we're in a cooling trend down from high 90s to high 70s/low 80s. But plenty of sunshine. The temps will be rising for sure as the days go by.

I'm having my morning coffee right now with Lucy but need to get back to netting and bagging fish and shrimp for my LFS couple. They'll be here in 50 minutes for them.

Nothing really new or interesting happening these days. Kinda slow which is not so bad. Played cards with friends Wednesday. That all the excitement I've had! How about you guys and gals?
