With all the rain you've had, I'm not surprised.

I'm not doing any better with my stuff in pots.  I am waiting until next year when I will plant my raised beds for the first time.

I don't know what fivers are and I don't care.  I like to grow my veggies in the dirt.  It will be hard for me to make my clay gravel  suitable for plants but I can do it.  I need to wait for fall so I can add leaves and manure and a sprinkling of cottonseed meal on the very bottom to make the worms want to come up and help decompose stuff more.

My  two little 4 by 8 raised beds  are a long term project, not the fast easy way.  Just think of all the time I will be making my body stronger by tackling a difficult task.

I have 'maters in 5 gallon buckets.  They're making some tomatoes.  Not a bumper crop but I should get some.  I want to do it in the real ground.
