No sir, I like parent raisers, but if I want a spawn real bad, I'll yank em.....some are, some aren't...

I'm not what you'd call an Angel breeder, but I have raised many spawns.  I think that just one time I pulled the eggs.  The rest of the time I would let the parents raise them, or do without babies.  For me part of the joy in breeding watching how the mom and dad love and protect their kids.

One of the reason that I'll pull a spawn is that the parents closely inspect their fry, and eat/cull the one's that they don't like....I can get larger fry results when ding the spawn artificially.
Fewer whites, almost no bacteria build up,and optinum conditions ....hence bigger count results...and like I said..no mom and dad fry elimination..

I understand that there are legitimate reasons.  The best reason, IMO is if you have a killer pair that you feel you MUST have fry from who are relentless egg eaters.  I can see it doing it in that case.  But those are just my personal feelings.  Everyone has his own way.  I know that there is nothing wrong with pulling eggs.

Mine will have to raise them. I don't have the time to pull the eggs and I like watching them care for the babies too.

I like watching them too...pulling is just an option used at the proper time...agreed

We had a surprise in a couple of our tanks...We found fry we didn't know we had!! So they have proven to us to be good parents...1 of them it was just their second batch of kids!!!
