This little guy didn't care about the rotten weather in the least...Song Sparrow singing his heart out

This Canada Goose ignored the weather...he was keeping an eye on his mate

And this little Grebe, a type of diving duck, just floated around way out in the lake

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

Actually I was sitting in the sun room  drinking coffee when the sparrow decided to carry on for all to hear. He was right outside my window.  I took the two other pictures out the window stretching the new camera to its limits to get the photo of the grebe.   ;D ;D ;D

While at the fish store a man with a camera was next to me at the counter. We started talking...turns out he was an adjunct professor of photography at Lansing Community College. He recommended a camera that I splurged on and love. Canon Powershot SX60 HS. It's magic!  :o I can even set it up and use my cell phone to remotely take pictures. I'm going to try doing this to take pictures of the angels with their spawn.

The camera is called a bridge camera....between a point and shoot and a DSLR. I can just push buttons on this camera and it makes me look smart. Lol. It has a 65x zoom. It's a fun camera overall. Be prepared...I'll be posting pictures for awhile with my new toy. Lol
