You can bleed off some of that with a few air lines, or open valves...that'll reduce the back pressure on the pump...

This a good time to add more sponges too.....get rid of a few hob filters, save electric $$$

Forgot to ask, are you using valve logs?....I use them and they're awesome.

Yes I am I have quite a few of them and some of them are cut in half to better spread access points

I have the (12 valve) logs...I used them in order to have extras, as needed, and LOL..most now used. I put the around the room, and just run the lines where needed. I used 5/8" clear, heavy wall tubing too, more easily adaptable to revisions,etc.

I might add that with that pump, you can run a single air line to double/triple valves for use in the fry tank areas.....works like a dream for getting air where needed for smaller tanks and vessels....
