I haven't had Bettas since I left Illinois. Until then I've always had a couple. I keep looking at them every time I go into a Petsmart or Petco. If I see a Plakat type I will definitely get one. It can go into my 40b cory tank. |^| |^| |^|

I always have at least one.  Now I have a half moon red, named Ruby, yes I know it is a male, and he lives now in an Endler tank where I hope he will help keep the thousands of fry in check.  Not working at all.

If you want to reduce the population of that Endler tank introduce an Angel of two.  Betas can't do it.  The fry are too fast for them.  I bet a female Beta could do a job on them, but I've never tried one for that so I'm just guessing.
