So today I was cruisin through craigslist and found a 60gal tank, stand, lids, lights, and heater for $100. Thought that was a good deal, tank looked like new. I don't need the stand and don't want to try and sell it so I offered him $50 for the tank, lids, lights, and heater and he accepted it! I think that's a killer deal. Tank measures 4' long 13" wide and 24" tall

Went and got the tank and it's in super good condition looks brand new. I need it for a grow out....don't tell my wife I got it lol

Nice find, I found out that if i can put the new tank next to one already set up my wife will assume it must of been there. Sometimes it's nice that she doesn't go into the fishroom much.

Got the tank into the fishroom without the wife knowing haha a. It's easy to do when I'm off and she works until 10pm

Jon, I guess this is where you and i are lucky. Our better halfs are into the hobby just as much as us. Hell if i don't pay attention my wife will sneak a new tank into the fish room
Anybody want a free, used, 125 gal tank? You just have to come get it in late January. I am keeping the stand to put in our new garage for pottery stuff on top of and inside. We live where Winter is mild, usually. Eastern NC, 30 mi. inland from the Atlantic. Anybody want a winter vacation??

ROAD TRIP!! ;D ;D Should be a 15 to 16 hour drive one way.
If you guys do come get it, there will be an assortment of smaller tanks too! And probably some fish equipment too. I am downsizing to only 4 tanks. And a small goldfish pond in the new backyard. If you bring sleeping bags or air mattresses you can sleep here. And I will offer food too. After all, our home is known as B&B's B&B (Bill and Barb's Bed and Breakfast).
