I do and I get quite a few discounts too. in most cases you have to ask if they do AARP. I have to try the insurance thing next. |^|

They've been sending me stuff since I turned 50.  They have doubled down now that I'm close to being officially old.  I'm finally considering it.

We used it for hotel discounts on our trip.

It cost me 16 dollars to join and I get much more than that back in discounts. I know some places give discounts to seniors anyway but since I am "only" 61 i don't qualify for a lot of them. 2c2

We use AARP, general senior and veterans discounts. Not all at once, but most places and/or businesses accept one of those.
When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe.  (Sweatpants & Coffee)

I use the AARP supplement to Medicare.
