Greenland Melting

Here is a great little video about the changes in the ice sheet in Greenland, a vast reservoir of above sea level ice that could lead to sea level increases if it melted.

I like this because it:
1) quickly shows how the data was obtained
2) shows the results very clearly
3) shows that these kind of things do not all occur in the same way making for a simple explanation
4) and doesn't go on and on about

I heard about it on NPR.  They inverviewed one of the scientists.  It may have been Jim Palcka (sp) who did the interview.  He's one of their 2 science guys.  They gave a link to the video, but I didn't check it out.  I will now.  Thanks.

You know who he is, then.  I think that he does a good job.  I always listen closely to NPR's science reporting.  They've made the big outerspace science interesting to me, which I thought would never happen.  For me the most fun is micro.
