I saw the story about that a while back.  I can't remember exactly but I think that it was about how these huge stone carvings were moved to where they were wanted.  If I remember correctly, they tried several times before they figured it out.  And we think that we in this modern age are smart.  We aren't any smarter than the ancients.  We are just good a different stuff.

I agree with you 100%, Liz. and to add to that I would say, each generation has new experiences and knowledge to build upon from the earlier generations through the years.
