Title: Drift wood
Post by: JR on December 24, 2012, 06:54:13 AM
How long do you need to boil drift wood. I buy mine most of the time off a friend that has it already to go in the tank. Bought some from Jacks yesterday. It said you should boil it but not for how long. I have some on the stove right now.

I boil mine for a few hours. Just to be sure theres no baddies in there. I think you could also bake it if there bigger pieces.  I haven't baked any. I just flip it around in the pot. There's something about bakeing dry wood that I don't like.
