dehumidifiers and generator

Remember how I only brought in one of the dehumidifiers in because I'd hurt my back?  I finally got around to opening the other two boxes yesterday.  The dehumidifier in the damaged box works perfectly.  The damage was only to the box itself.  I opened the 3rd box which was a plain cardboard box and guess what.  Inside was a 3rd dehumidifier in it's original box!  I was thinking that it was too small to be a generator but didn't know what else it could be.)

I've contacted the seller and have asked him what he wants me to do.  I expect that he'll tell me to keep the one that came in the damaged box.  I'm sure he had it insured, besides it I were to return it it would have to be sold as used.  He'll likely have me return the one I haven't opened.

Then I checked on the status of the Generator.  It should have been here by now.  Turns out it has not yet been shipped.  I filed a complaint with EBay.  They have contacted the seller and told me to give him until the 11th to reply.  If he doesn't ship they will proceed with my complaint.

I've bought lots of stuff from ebay over the years and have never had a problem before.  I'm sure that it has to do with this being Christmas time.  Christmas is cursed.  Who'd have thunk?

I'm still waiting for two boxes shipped from Foster & Smith. They shipped them by Sure Post which is where UPS hands off to USPS for delivery. Tracking disappeared when handed off to USPS. huh

Definitely that time of the year.  After delivering at least a gazillion packages here in the last 20 years, today UPS tells me I have a bad address.  LOL

And here all this time I thought this was an idyllic spot.....

Well, that was fast.  The lady selling the generator refunded my money this morning.  Now I get to go shopping again ;D
