I thought it was really good.
Set the scene for the Civil War and described the politics of the time, which were very complex.

....LOL...I think that I've been there since I retired...... huh....well somewhat anyway.... huh
Bought the wife a kindle when they first came out. Year before last I bought her a newer one and I got the old one. I go on Amazon, go to science fiction, and sort lowest price to highest. I have been reading for two years and haven't got to the end of the $0.00 ones yet. Some of them aren't very good, but they pass the time. It won't be long and I will be into the $0.99 ones so I will have to move to a different category.
