I've always thought of adding a seasonal pond to the backyard. I'd like to use it for growout for angels, plecos, and corys.....plus I could snorkel in it...maybe take underwater pictures, vids, etc....???

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

Too funny! I would love to have one too but I want one like the one at our time share and we are talking mega bucks I bet. Plus they suck in water from Lake Hamilton and it goes back in over a water fall. The koi are outstanding though.

Jo, that is a beautiful pond.  And Mug, you will need a big pond to get into with snorkle!  If you do it I want to see it.  Ponds are so nice to have, lots of work, but worth it.

It really is my pics don't do it justice. It is my favorite part of being there. There are tables and chairs all around it to sit and watch koi. They see you coming and hope you have food. LOL

That's a cool pond. Jon you wouldn't need a pond when you turn your basement into the aquarium. Then you could scuba dive in there.
