The weaker part of my self tries to slap it down and tell it to screw a head on it's shoulders for once.  I'd need the one with 2 blades because the one it come with is serrated.  https://www.amazon.com/EdgeCraft-610-Choice-Premium-Electric/dp/B009GAFZV4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482893329&sr=8-1&keywords=610%2Bmeat%2Bslicer&th=1
Always move forward. Never look back.

I had one of those, bit it didn't have the power I needed for slicing lots of stuff i.e beef heart . I went middle of the road as price goes. I had better luck with a stainless steel  mandolin slicer. They're razor sharp and mine seems to stay sharp.

...many years back, my Mom had the hand crank big slicer....they're nice, but can be dangerous to the inattentive too....

My other problem with the electric slicer was it didn't slice sweet potatoes as thin as I needed them. The mandolin is also faster. You need to pay attention with one of those, too. Only close calls so far, no blood. LOL
