Well my Monday had a rough start.  I went to feed the angels this morning and noticed that one of my paired up plat females was missing.  I looked all over the immediate area and figured she must have jumped out and got underneath a piece of furniture.

As I proceeded to feed the rest of the angels in her tank and I noticed that she was in the intake compartment of my aquaclear 110.  When I went to take her out she spiked me and took a 4 foot drop to the floor.

I picked her up and dropped her back into the tank and she went along as if nothing happened.  I know I have to keep an eye on her to make sure she is ok but she is a pretty robust fish.

BTW the tank is a 55G with 6 plats including 2 pairs.  So far everyone's been getting along pretty good but.... ??? ??? ???

The best part about my Monday so far is that I woke up!
The worst part about my Monday so far is that I woke up pre-7am...then found out from a midnight-written email that I don't need to pickup Mike Wise, our speaker for GSAS this month, as early as was anticipated. I could have slept another hour!

He gave 2 private talks to our signed up club members since he got here Saturday.  I'm going to escort him to some natural areas for some photography.  I'm thinking an area with the salmon running and/or maybe hit the Seattle Aquarium if he wants to go there.  Tomorrow night he's doing a program on care and breeding Apistos.
Happy Aquariuming,

Kinda chilly here too.  At least the rain has stopped.  We must have had around 2 inches yesterday and last night.  Got a big box of Danio roseus going to some special needs kids up around Cleveland.  I though I had about 100 fry when the fish first spawned, but I've sold or given away about 150 and still have 50+ in the last grow-out tank.  Very prolific fish!
