Their are some real beauties in there.  What I nice tank with all those fish in among the plants and rummaging around in the gravel.  The only planted tank I have in the shop is my 125.  The water change system I have set up in the fish room is not compatible with gravel and plants except some plants in pots that don't do great because there is not enough room for their roots to grow.   It's all because I cut my fish teeth breeding and growing out Discus.  The Discus way works great for Angels but the tanks aren't much to look at unless you're all about fish.

....that's exactly right, Liz, and that's why, with no room for multiple tanks for needed breeding and raising fish, I've chosen to make one large tank a tank in which I can cultivate and harvest plants and enjoy watching the fish I love...I'll be replacing my 54g corner tank with a 125g heavily planted tank at the foot of my bed probably in November...

...That's the way I go to sleep now...I turn on the Sirius Spa Dish station for a 30 minute cutoff...and I find myself drifting off and then catching myself to wake up to watch the tank some more before the music shuts off...! :D

...we used to have a futon down in the fish room...pile of old pillows.....it was easy to lay there and crash just watching the tanks......ZZZZzzzzzzz

I have a very comfortable sofa in my fish room.  I sleep down there when I have guests or sometimes just because I feel like it.  The sounds of the bubbles is very relaxing.
